David Conolly

As a comedian, David has performed all over the British Isles (including London’s West End at the Comedy Theatre) and many parts of Europe. In the US he is often seen at The Comedy Store on Sunset Strip, Los Angeles, Flappers, Burbank and the Ice House, Pasadena. In 2012, David was selected in the top ten headline comedians in L.A. David performed in RantLA’s record streaming of standup. For three years running, David has been selected in the top 100 comics of North America in the world series of comedy. David has toured many parts of the U.S. including Stand Up NY in New York City, Zanies in Chicago, The Joke Joint, Minneapolis, The Comedy Spot, Scottsdale, the Las Vegas comedy club, Las Vegas, and tours of the pacific north west. David was also the MC at the World Marbles Competition. In 2011, David was host of the spoof news show Hindsight News, which can still be found on youtube and is currently the co-host of the weekly podcast Narcissistic News. Kaiser Permanente members may recognize David as the FLU EXPERT.
In Britain, David starred in the TV series MENACE alongside Steven Moyer (TRUE BLOOD) and also starred in the film, MOTHERS & DAUGHTERS which he co-wrote an co-directed with his wife, Hannah Davis, they were nominated for THE GOLDEN HITCHCOCK AWARD FOR DIRECTION. The film opened at the Cannes Film Festival before playing at film festivals worldwide. This movie is now available in the US on DVD, under the title: LOVERS & OTHER PROBLEMS. David has a Silver Lei for “Excellence in Filmmaking” from Honolulu International Film Festival for the film, THE UNDERSTUDY, which he co-wrote and co-directed with Hannah, this sits alongside his CINEMONDE award from New York for “Excellence in Direction”. THE UNDERSTUDY has appeared at festivals around the world before being released theatrically in 2012. It debuted on Showtime in February 2013 and is now available on iTunes, Amazon and DVD. David is also a member of BAFTA (British Film and Television Academy) and is attached to direct the feature film LEMMINGS, in 2013. David has also written narration for numerous concerts with actor and orchestra which have played The Royal Albert Hall- London, Carnegie Hall – New York and Sydney Opera House.
