David Davis

20-year-old David Davis was born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois. At the age of three, he was already giving emotionally charged performances at the local gospel church, and it was very clear that his purpose in life was to sing and entertain audiences. David Davis' on-stage experiences, such as his professional job as a featured R&B/Rock singer/dancer in “Showstoppin’” at Six Flags Great America-Chicago, have helped him develop an incredible passion and vision for show concept, and entertainment. David's unique vocal prowess, stage presence and lyrical style has been influenced by heroes such as Stevie Wonder, Gavin DeGraw, Janelle Monáe, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, and Donnie McClurkin.
Nothing has slowed down since his move to Nashville in 2009. He can be seen performing with the Nashville Soul Choir, which has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Michael W. Smith, Mandisa, Jordan Pruitt and many other famous recording artists. You will also see him around Nashville as a background vocalist for artists and as a solo artist at venues such as 12th and Porter, Third and Lindsley and Hotel Indigo. David's music features many talented Nashville artists, including woodwind genius Tyler Summers, from the Tyler Summer's Trio. He is currently a sophomore at Belmont University majoring in Commercial Music with a Vocal Performance emphasis.
