Bio
Multi-talented 29 year-old David Ferreira not only sings but also performs as an actor. His voice is easily recognized as the voice of several cartoon characters and he is also the voice of a TV Channel.
His grandfather used to listen to Frank Pourcel, Maurice Chevalier and he recalls those tapes that played forever during their car trips but actually didn't really make it for him. He remembers going to bed one night and finding a Frank Sinatra CD under his pillow - a gift from his mother. His passion for Jazz and the standards began early in life and really get under his skin.
Later, bossa-nova followed the same path. Singing songs that have always been a part of his imaginary is today, more than ever, his way.
Even those french singers his grandfather listened to became, after all, a part of him and of his repertoire.
Singing is David's greatest need, love his greatest mystery. Singing about love is according to David most definitely the ultimate psycho-analisys!
