"Wintermoon Festival"

"A brilliant act, with a huge presence on stage, Dave Flower empowered his audiences, and was one of the highlights of the Wintermoon Festival this year. A mixture of folk/rock/blues, they stole the night’s concert, accelerated the crowds elation with their energised performances and had everyone (including the festival organisers!) on their feet."
- Jenny Drake, festival organiser

"David Flower Releases new album"

"The prolific Flower has a particular attraction to the acoustic guitar's ability to create natural melody, which is evident on his new self titled album. He plays a unique, enticing blend of acoustic folk and reggae expressing himself both on a personal and social level"
- Time Off Magazine

"Flower launches new album"

"Great social commentary filled with raw honesty and warm songs of love. It really is something you can put on and have a good listen to the lyrics. A well balanced album by musicians who really know their stuff"
- Lisa Kither, Sunshine Coast Daily

2006 LP "David Flower" self titled
2002 EP "Mad Flower" Curious World

David’s anticipated new album is due out in June 2012 and will coincide with the commencement of his “Happy Gone Missing” Tour.
Whether you experience David Flower in an intimate session or with the full power of his band you will be moved by his intense love of music.
David plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, and sitar and has a stirring dynamic voice. His songs highlight the delicate fabric & dynamic dance of human relationships, raising buried topics and putting the washing out, encouraging social comment. He delivers his lyrics with enlightened energy and a cheeky charm, remaining unapologetically feisty; this along with his self-teach attitude on his instruments and techniques make for music that grabs the attention. Storytelling with a groove.
Most recently, David is proud to have his song “Ride my Wave” as the theme for the current Sunshine Coast worldwide tourism campaign.
