David Fox

For the last 10 years, Georgetown singer-songwriter, David Fox has been entertaining families with his powerful voice, imaginative lyrics and unique rock, pop and folk-rock styles of music. Although he has performed mainly as a high energy children's rock musician on stages David has always passionately continued to write songs for adult audiences. In fact David has been writing since the young age of 10, including the songs on his new CD, Through the Night, Wishing Well and Sandman.

Due to a personal tragedy in recent years, David has been on a mission writing over 50 songs from 2002 to 2005, reflecting many social and political issues of our time. His latest release, Our Angel, is a rock and pop CD with a taste of folk rock. David is a mystical story teller weaving powerful vocals with intelligent lyrics to create a unique musical style.

Our Angel was produced in Maple, Ontario by Dario DeCicco of Pit Stop Productions (co-producer with Terry Brown and Dale Penner) and produced in PEI by Juno-nominated producer Paul Milner of Stable Studios (Eddy Grant, Sass Jordan, Headstones, Doughboys, Kevin Jordan). The result is a high energy, radio friendly big sound with an edge that falls somewhere between, Neil Young, R.E.M. and the Tragically Hip but with Fox’s own unique style. It has already garnered publishing interest from Many Lives Music Publishers, based on the quality of the song writing. He is presently rehearsing with a five member band in Maple for an upcoming southern Ontario tour.
