David Harper

Music is something hard to describe and interpret. It has meanings different to each individual. To David Harper music is a doorway to a heartfelt connection with the Lord. He is a singer/songwriter whose passion and maturity brings music that soothes and even heals the soul. He has published songs such as Lavish My Love and a top 10 CCRB Radio song titled With You Again. In the past David has worked as an assistant engineer and production assistant to Josh Groban, Destiny's Child, Savage Garden, Hall and Oates Producer/Programmer/Engineer Greg Bieck. He has also completed a project for Word/Warner Bros and helped with recordings for INO and Virgin Records. He began his journey with a guitar at the age of 14 by learning folk and country tunes. This music eventually led to a calling of worship to God. To David worship music is not just music, its a joy and overflowing path into his heart. With musical influences such as Coldplay, John Mayor, Sigur Ros, Mindy Smith, U2, and Matt Redman, David has crafted his own blend of music. With the vibe of the alternative artist and the organic sound of the acoustic guitar he has perfected music unique in itself. His songs radiate in creative colors of true worship and devotion to a God bigger than us all. David's song "everything" recently won the 2007 Independent Music Awards for best song in the Gospel/Contemporary Music Genre.
