David Hasselhoff On Acid

David Hasselhoff On Acid

BandRockJam

we aren't slaves to one genre, or even two. We have no boundaries with our music, we believe in letting the songs go where the music takes us. Our music has a heavy theme of funk music, but it rarely stays in funk. We play mellow jazz to rock to on the verge of metal. Dancin' music with power.

Biography

David Hasselhoff on Acid is a three piece experimental, funk, jam band from Overland Park, Kansas. It consists of bass, drums, and guitar played respectively by Erich Thomas, Alexander Thomas, and Phil Wolf. We started in early 2006 and have managed to keep on jamming. Erich and Alexander are brothers and Phil has been a long time compadre. So, it only made sense that he strapped his guitar on and rocked it with us. Over the past year we have come up with about two hours of material. We have a demo CD so far called ...And the Search Party Never Came. The CD has four trakcs(Alive but Dreaming, F-Zero, When in Rome, and Quest for Fire) but we are going to release a full length in March or April of 2008. As one could tell by listening to our music for a few minutes, we aren't slaves to one genre, or even two. We have no boundaries with our music, we believe in letting the songs go where the music takes us. Our music ranges from mellow jazz riffs to on the verge of metal. We put an immense amount of emotion and let ourselves be completely free from any false or fake energy on stage and off. Our live shows are more of an experience than a concert. We immerse people in the music until the show is done and the crowd wakes up from the reality we just put them in. We hold the idea that one can not share their art with others unless the artist is completely part of their creation:the artist has to be the art. This is why our live shows are so powerful. We let the music work through us. David Hasselhoff on Acid will see you very soon. It is only a matter of time.
