David Hoffman and the Damn Fines

David Hoffman is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who wraps his heartfelt lyrics in music that draws from the seminal roots of American music, but still looks forward to the future of rock and roll. Though in the studio, he often performs all the instrumental tracks himself, live he is often assisted by The Damn Fines, a limber and attractive rotating group of malcontents.
David is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and has performed professionally as a singer, guitarist, drummer, percussionist and bass player throughout the New York, Boston and Washington, DC metro areas, as well as in Brazil and in international waters. The Runway, his first full-length CD as a solo artist, was released in September 2002. The Rise and Fall, his second CD, was released in December 2003. He has composed film soundtracks for Little White Boy, an independent feature produced by Four Marys Productions, and Dream House, a theatrical short produced by Beerbohm Productions. A native of Bethesda, Maryland, he currently resides near English Kills in the Borough of Kings.
