David Kingdom

I started singing at a young age and was in numerous plays and musicals as a kid. I started teaching myself guitar in 1988 and played rhythm and lead guitar and bass, as well as lead and backing vocals, in different cover bands that never went anywhere, right up until 2001. I recently bought a 4-track recorder and a drum kit and started mucking around. I have written and recorded about ten songs in the past few months, but none of them are at the standard that I would like... yet. Obviously, the tracks would sound much better if I had access to professionals to help me out (as I'm a complete novice). But, you will get the general idea. I am in the Navy, but would throw it in in a heartbeat if I had the opportunity to become a professional recording artist, which is the one and only thing I've ever really wanted to do. Unfortunately, I never chased my dream hard enough and like most people, I settled for second best. But, I've decided to give it a go at 33, because I believe it's never too late. And you never know, someone out there might actually dig some of my music. Never give up on your dreams...
