David wrote "Take Me Back" when he was just 14 years old. He met and worked with Susan Shewbridge a year later and was able to get if off paper and onto a CD where he could start using it in his sets. David Leon is an 18 year old recent high school graduate from Dacula, GA. who began his music career three short years ago. In that time, David has gained not only state, but national recognition by winning top honors in the Teen categories in both the Country and Gospel music genres. Included in his many awards over the past few years are Vocalist, Songwriter, and Entertainer of the year, as well as being voted one of the top 10 favorite 2010 Atlanta Country Artists by the fans, in this past year's Country Atlanta Poll. David has also received radio play on Atlanta’s 94.9 The Bull’s Backyard Country radio show.
