It was years ago, that David Malmberg walked in on a class at the conservatory of music in seville spain and announced to the instructor, America Martinez, that he wanted to learn classical guitar. It was from this unusual beginning that David began to absorb the teaching lineage of Senora America Martinez. This lineage having been traced to to Daniel Fortea and Francisco Tarrega, the father of the modern classical guitar. Years passed and many recordings of orginal guitar compositions ensued. And today, David Malmberg continues this rich legacy of the guitar.
