Bio
I have been playing guitar for nine years. I formed a band nine years ago, with four members; drums, bass, rhythm guitar/vocals, and me on lead guitar and back up vocals. We play many private party gigs and also shows around the community. Our style of music ranges from classic rock with a heavy blues influence from my guitar style to a modern rock twist that incorperates all genres to get a unique sound.
I also play lead guitar in a band called "Stadium". I joined in 2009 and since then Stadium has opened for the "Sick Puppies" twice in January 22 and 23 2010. The first show was at the Denina Center along with the other opening band "The Lives of Famous Men". Then Stadium opening for the Sick Puppies the 23rd at The Blue Loon. Stadium has opened for the band "Static Cycle" many times at numerous venues. I left Stadium and am now working towards furthering in my style of guitar palying.
I am currently playing with an artist by the name of Scout Smith. She plays the acoustic guitar and sings while I play lead electric and backup vocals. Also along with us is a harmonica player. We are playing steady gigs throughout Anchorage and other parts of town. Scout and I are both trying to make it to SXSW and show both our individual talent and musicianship, but also how we sound together.
