David Newman is a sacred singer songwriter, and master of the ancient art of mantra singing known as Kirtan. David's music embodies a devotional mysticism, distinctive musicality, and poetic intimacy weaving poignant songs of spirit into a timeless mystical fusion of hypnotic trance jams and acoustic roots musical tapestry. David has been featured on NPR's All Things Considered, has toured throughout the US, Asia and Canada and records for the Nettwerk Music Group.
