David Rucci

David Rucci is a Monmouth County, New Jersey native who, after attending school studying both mechanical engineering and music performance on the East Coast, set out west to pursue experience in a career in musical culture's.Landing in New Mexico, he began performing at local venues throughout the Southwest Region exposing him to new and different playing styles that took interest. David began recording in 2006("Take 1") with a self release that he recorded in his own studio. In 2010 and 2012, he released a live CD and another studio CD, respectively, featuring some of his most recent material. ("Live at the Western", and "Inside Studio B w/ T. David Wiggins") in Cloudcroft, NM. He also has played with various local artist's from the region. Currently residing in Austin, TX, the recent move has inspired new projects and idea's with a self anticipated studio release EP. The music is a blend of jazz, blues, country, reggae, and rock with a progressive heartfelt influence through life lessons, freedom, love lost and reform. David Rucci has been collectively performing since 2001.
