There is a new era of songwriter upon us not restricted by traditional genre boundaries - or more accurately a renaissance of the truly creative. At the forefront of this movement is pop-hop artist David Scott. Regarded for his ability to make vulnerable and introspective lyrics into catchy hooks David is well on his way to becoming Canada’s next big musical export.
Born and raised in Guelph Ontario, now based in Toronto, David Scott’s self-produced debut single Worst Way was released online in early spring 2016. Shortly after David released his second self-produced single Live Right, a hip-hop inspired pop anthem which describes growing up as a child of divorce and the effect it had on him as an artist.

David Scott’s debut EP (title to be determined) was produced by David Scott, with additional production by Doug Romanow and is due out in the fall of 2016.
