"Don't Give Up"

Dramatic Piece
Great use of dynamics on a full track. creative and drawing. This is a talented group performing a very dramatic piece. Almost could be a musical piece.

"Don't give up!"

faith song
Nice intro, good mix. Nice clear vocals!, a nice change from most songs on here. Seems a bit of a Christian song, not folk rock? Harmony on the chorus would help fill things out. I think the bass is a bit too much forward in the mix, it dominates a touch too much, but that might be my speakers... Nice job.

"Don't Give Up!"

ok
nice when the acoustic starts to play "for real", I think you should skip the "first" intro and go straight to the "second" one. nice performance.
vocals-good, a little vibrato that sounds really nice at sometimes
guitars-the acoustic was great.

"Don't Give Up!"

Nice slow start which builds with the addition of a second faster guitar which creates a really good effect. Vocals are good strong, confident and the song sounds very jazzy. The performance is good obviously the group is quite experienced and has played together before. For me the song is a little cheesy for my taste but it is a very well done song none the less despite my own opinions. - - rilokilee from Unspecified

"Don't Give Up"

Nice.
Overall, I think this song is a great song. The production seems a bit cheesy, however. The electric drum sound and directly plugged in guitars--it's sort of distracting. I really love the lyrics and the lead vocals. Good song.

Bio

The music we play is uniquely ours. We each have music influences, but have tried to not copy what someone else does. Early influences have been Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Arlo Guthrie, Tom Paxton, Harry Chapin. The music of the rock group, Kansas, was a big influence. More recent influences are MercyMe, Casting Crowns, Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Darrell Evans, and Jars of Clay.
One of the unique things about our band is the fact that the ages range from fourteen to fifty-seven years old. This tends to put a new twist on old styles and an old twist on new styles.
This band is the result of a 35 year dream. I had a dream to have a band and possibly "make a record" because CD's hadn't been invented yet. All things that are to happen have to have timing. In the case of this CD the timing had to be from God. So, to make a long story a little shorter, we do have a band and we made our first CD after a 35 year wait.
