As novelist Richard Murff was writing his novel, One Last Hour, he sent musician Seale drafts, and from those drafts, Seale crafted and recorded an album of music that enhances the themes and characters from the novel. Released together, the two media help to tell a powerful story that is timely and timeless, and because of the unique mix of prose and singer-songwriter songs, no other project has ever been offered.
The program that Murff and Seale provide is a combination of live song performances, readings from the novel, and witty discussions from both artists as they discuss the collaborative process, the themes in the novel and songs, how they worked together while living in 2 different cities, and how one genre influenced the other. Their talent, intelligence, and sense of humor make this 45-60 minute program thoroughly entertaining and certainly like no other act in the world.
