Here's your Creative Pause for the Cause. Check out Houston's own David Sha's latest video for his song "Yes Yes Y'all". Real talk, David Sha is one of the BEST live performers I've ever seen and his sound is dynamic. David Sha brings a refreshing mix of philosophical spirituality and vivid urban truth to an industry lacking much substance. My avid readers know that I rarely post music artist but trust me, David Sha is The Truth! I saw this video today and I had to post it. "Yes Yes Yall" is the 2nd Single from the upcoming album Ugly. If you like what you hear, the download is available here. Click below to watch the video and let me know what you think!

Well, I told you all that I’d be back with the latest info on fusion artist David Sha and the release of his new single “Carverdale (She’s Alright)” from the forthcoming album UGLY. Fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride!

The video for this tune, which is currently available for viewing on both Sha’s YouTube channel (TheShaMan122) and the videographer’s YouTube channel (ThirdVisionMedia), has gotten a myriad of excellent reviews. I had the pleasure of viewing it myself, and I must say that it definitely puts Sha in another class. He has truly elevated his game at this point. He has officially left the ranks of outstanding amateurs and has joined an elite class of indie artists who carve their own niche` and make you love its groove. He’s basically shouting from the tops of his lungs, “I’m a professional! Recognize!” Sha has taken great pride and put in vast efforts to deliver the best product possible–from the professional mixing and mastering of the record, to the perfectly executed video shoot for the single. It’s no amateur video by any means. The masterful skill of the video production team (everyone from the camera man to the editor) is apparent and is comparable, if not better, than music videos that are currently in rotation on music television.

I’ve posted stuff from this dude before. Backpack as hell but in an era of hip-hop overrun by stadium-sized, keyboard-powered southern bangers, this sounds fresh as hell. I digs…. - Different Kitchen

One of Houston's up and coming artists, David Sha. I've had the opportunity to play with Sha on stage multiple times with Full Service and even had some time to just jam out 1on1. Sha can spit freestyle with the best of them and can also sing like none other. - guitarandbass101.blogspot.com

“Among the Amazulu of South Africa there is a greeting sawubona meaning “I see you.” The underlying implication is that the outside of a person is not the true self. When I look at you, I see the spirit that animates the person; the essence that makes you human (muntu): the God force. No matter your shortcomings, you are alright with me. This is the message of the new single “Carverdale” by Houston soul commander-and-chief David Sha”Asar Imhotep - MOCHASUITE.COM - Mocha Suite.com

David Sha, aka Dibidi, is an eclectic musical extremist that blurs the genre line by fusing Hip-Hop, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Afro Rhythms, and Blues into one heavenly listening experience.

He uses his deep southern spiritual background as a muse to create masterpieces that enlighten the mind, stir up the spirit, and elevate the consciousness of all generations. This Texas (Houston) wordsmith is committed to making his people (he who has ears let him hear) aware of the evils that exist in this world, and then he presents a positive outlook on all the surrounding negativity.

Trained under the legendary Bobby Bird, Sha’s voice has lead him through the church house and across many secular stages. Early in his career, he sang a duet with KC (of Jodeci) at the Sun Set Room in Hollywood and sang back up for James Debarge. He has also opened for favorites like Isley Brothers, Urban Mystic, Silk, Tank and performed at celebrity parties to include Shaq, P. Diddy and Chico Debarge.
Influences include James Brown,Curtis Mayfield,Jimi Hendrix,Marvin Gaye,The D.O.C., Rakim, Scar Face, Mos Def, Bob Marley, John Lennon, Nirvana.
