Powerful Blues guitar, soulful vocals, heartfelt songwriting, passionate and hard grooving, is The David Shelley Band. Fusing traditional forms with unique cultural experiences, David’s a performer with a world beat edge, a Blues man for our time.
Early on, David was indoctrinated with a vast collection of Chess LPs and folkloric knowledge, forever binding him to the likes of Muddy Waters and Howling Wolf. Add influences like Jimi Hendrix and the Blues rock of that era and David's musical foundations took root.
David Shelley has been to a worldly crossroads, where glitz and grime meet on the boulevard between swamp and desert, creating Blues that’s both ancient but modern, while truly original.
