David Vaughn Merlin

David Vaughn Merlin is a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and Independent Music Award winning recording artist. He writes and performs classical, pop and electronic music, with a signature artistic production style. David's father, Mihaly Virizlay, was the 1st cellist in the Baltimore Symphony for 40 years. David grew up surrounded by a passion for composing and performance that led to a life path full of musical and artistic endeavors.

David Vaughn Merlin's live show appeals to a wide audience. At concerts we see teens to adults and families gather around to watch the unique show and hear the music. David performs his classical New Age music with a twist. He puts on a show with his "infrared air synths" that he plays magically in mid air with his hands. He has keyboards and a laptop like a pop music show. He adds sound fx and world textures from a DJ mp3 turntable. It captures people's attention and puts an interesting performance behind the beautiful album. Ashley Baldwin adds her voice to several songs. Singing like an angel, along with ocean waves, whales and various wildlife. It is a unique show for this type of record.

This is a genre blending relaxation album merging new age, classical melody and a film score like feeling. The songs are both calming and inspiring at the same time.
