Bio
David Versis is a 25 year old Toronto based rapper/producer/song-writer/singer/instrumentalist. While his sound is very much hip hop, his musical style has a grittiness which is reflective of his rock/blues influences.
Versis has released 3 free projects online, in just over a year's time. The first, DRAFTED, an 8 track record show and tell of Versis' lyrical ability over commercial records, was released in late 2010. He then released HATE TO SAY IT in the winter of 2011. This 14 track mixtape consisted of original production from Versis himself, as well as Toronto's own Arthur McArthur (credits include Drake, Lil’ Wayne, Dr.Dre, Nas, Rick Ross, Kelly Rowland, The Game) and others.
On June 14 2012 Versis released his sophmore mixtape 'Poetics Symphonies And Like Minded Souls.' (P.S.A.L.M.S.). Executively produced by David Versis and Arthur McArthur, P.S.A.L.M.S. features 14 tracks with 2 additional bonus songs; 7 produced by Arthur McArthur, and the other 9 by Versis himself. Although this mixtape has only been available for a short period time, it has recieved a great deal of love both in the city and internationally.
