David Walsh & The Friendly Fire is a band formed by front man David Walsh. In the summer of 2011 Walsh collaborated with bassist/drummer Benjamin Schubert and guitarist/producer Chad J Walsh and formed The Friendly Fire. The self-titled record was recorded in a two week span in Toronto, Canada. The record features appearances from singer/songwriter Sarah Cripps, and Juno nominated producer/keyboard player Brent Bodrug. Music from David Walsh’s 2011 Ep Up In The Air was featured in season five of CBC’s television show Heartland.
