The Davisson Brothers Band uniquely infuses a remarkable blend of country, southern rock, and bluegrass to create their distinctive sound. This sound, combined with the band's energy, has gained a loyal fan base all over the Eastern US, performing over 250 shows a year. The Davisson Brothers Band sound is truly a Davisson sound, drawing on generations of family members musical experiences, talents, and material. Their influences not only draw on Davisson family members, but also on the rich musical resources near their hometown of Clarksburg, WV.
Allying themselves with CharTunes Records, the Davisson Brothers Band is recording its first album. One cut from the project, "Big City Hillbilly," is already receiving advance airplay throughout West Virginia. The recording process has proven to be an exciting creative time for the band and the Davisson Brothers and CharTunes are optimistic that their Appalachian sound will reach a wider audience through the marketing and distribution of their new CD.
