"I want to tell my story, lift people up and inspire them."-Davon King

Davon King born Devonte Berkeley is a 23 year old Hip Hop artist from Bridgehampton, NY. Davon is new school emcee with a old school soul, He has been musically inclined since the age of 2 yrs old singing and rapping to some of the hottest tunes of the 90s. At the age of 10 Davon received a Karaoke machine for Christmas and started rapping, writing, and recording his own music. By the age of 13 Davon began to  showcase his talent at school and parties; the crowd encouraged his confidence. Davon is always ready to show his lyrical abilities.

 

In 2008 Davon wrote and recorded his first professional song "Sleep On The Phone". The song gained great feedback and earned some airplay on local radio station 101.7 The Beach. Fueled by the accomplishment Davon began writing and recording music full time outside of school hours. In 2012 he released his debut mixtape "Late Nights Early Mornings" on Datpiff.com. this mixtape has earned thousands of downloads and streams online.

 

Rapper, Lyricist, Songwriter and Hiphop star on the rise, Davon King is showing no signs of slowing down. Davon has already been featured on DJ Booth's top 20 upcoming emcee list as well as having his song "Who Realer" played on Shade 45 and VH1's Love and Hiphop LA. Davon's latest body of work is a 7 track EP titled "Not For Sale" fully produced by Netherlands based producer Noco Beats. The Ep features one of Davon's biggest singles featuring Mistah F.A.B which has gained over 40 Thousand streams on Soundcloud. 

 

Davon always remains humble and says his music is meant to inspire and uplift his listeners.
