The best kept secret in music
Press
The best description of Dax is industrial electronica with a rock attitude. While "Submission" is rife with a NIN influence the vocals are more modern rock (without the growly-screamy), "Lay My Head" has more of an electronic sound filled with industrial-distorted vocals. However, DAX's voice is actually pretty strong despite the musical style, which lends a slight disadvantage towards actually hearing what he's got to say. "Not Worth the Paper" displays more of a little sexy-funk than the other two tracks and has a great bassy groove and tough little guitar riff. This is one of those discs that you'll want to blare when you've got the inkling to be a little "bad". (Picture slinking across the room toward your lover as you slowly discard your clothing). I think I'll hang on to this one! - http://www.scorerocks.com

Bio
DAX’s music is an intoxicating blend of styles ranging from industrial and EBM to funk and pop. It always grooves and it passionately rocks.
Lyrically, the material is personal, challenging and pointed at times, dark and sensual at others. It is powerfully presented and deeply felt.
Popping in the DAX CD, the listener floats along the heavy, pounding rhythm of “Submission” or sinks into the trippy, sexy “Lay My Head.”
The rapid churning “Not Worth the Paper” was recently featured on a Westwood One/Sony Playstation compilation featuring such artists as Crystal Method and Sevendust.
DAX’s super-fly version of David Bowie’s “Ashes to Ashes,” featuring Dale Bozzio (Missing Persons) on co-lead vocals, was released on last years Serious Vanity tribute Bangs…Sounds of the 80’s.
DAX was recently selected as one of Music Connection’s top 100 unsigned artists and he was selected for a showcase at the 2003 Independent Music Conference.
Four DAX songs are to appear in the upcoming videogame "In the Groove."
