Daybreak 3:16

Our history as Daybreak 3:16 is very short and can be traced back only a few months. We are Walker Brown, Ryan Crisman, Eric Seevers, Reagan Barnett, and Sam Elliott. We all attend Northland Christian High School, and we've known each other for five years through the school system. When we first got to know each other, none of us could play our instruments (with the exception of pianist/guitarist/musical prodigy Reagan). Not even an immense lack of skill, knowledge, or instruments could stop us, though. Now, only a few short years later, we are writing and performing music that's fun for everyone playing and listening, as well as engaging and thought-provoking. We aim to encompass a variety of sounds from energetic pop/rock to acoustic worship. We strive to make music that not only attracts ears, but connects to hearts, leaving people better off than they were before they took time to listen.
The band name "Daybreak 3:16" is something we decided on for two reasons: First, we kind of see Jesus as the sunrise - He is faithfull to come rid our lives of darkness everyday like the break of dawn ends the night (even though we might not always see Him, He's always there). Secondly, you might guess that the 3:16 was picked to symbolize John 3:16...and you'd be right. But after we picked the reference, we discovered another "3:16" that sums up what we're about even better; that verse is found in Philippians, and it says,"Only let us live up to what we have already attained." We enjoy writing songs, and we believe our stuff is something fresh and enjoyable for any audience. God has blessed us with music, and we would like to bless others with it as well. -Daybreak 3:16
