Bio
Daybreak Embrace was formed by drummer Giann Rubio and guitarist Keneth Figueroa in 2009. With over ten years of experience in the South Florida rock scene, the two had worked together on and off in several projects. On their latest collaboration they both found that they could express themselves fully and quickly realized that their writing styles complemented each other. After six months of writing demos and searching for a singer, James "Wamo" Wamsley replied to an ad posted on the Internet. To their surprise, the soulful singer from Ohio seemed to fit the music perfectly. Wamo added to the project deep meaningful lyrics and a wide vocal range. Dan Cartagena, lead guitarist, and Dani Costa, bassist, have been added to the lineup to complete the sound.
After approaching Producer Paul Trust with the demos, the band soon started recording their debut EP "Tomorrow Awaits". The album is a five song work which combines progressive drumming, alternative guitars, and hard rock vocal styling with a dark yet hopeful theme. The EP was released in November 2010 and quickly established that this would be a South Florida band to keep an eye on.
