"Saturday November 12th at Curtain Club"

Second up was Daylight Industries. Their show began with the instrumentalists, specifically bassist, Barry Townsend, who began a riff before the curtain opened on them. “Them” being lead guitarist, Brandon Tyner, and their slightly different percussion section, made up of Adam Wilson on a traditional kit as well as a guy who played some beats on a bongo. The instrumental song sounded good, but I was hoping some singing would be added to the mix soon, and the keyboard with a mic in front of it looked promising. Sure enough, as soon as the song ended vocalist, Logan Gnerlich, and keyboard player and backing vocalist, Ashley Hagmann, walked on to the stage. They got off to a little rocky start with their first song, mainly due to Logan, who would sing then pull the mic away from his mouth. I get what he was trying to do with that, give the lyrics a fade out effect, but instead it made his singing almost indistinguishable. That was the only tune he did that though, and then the show really got going. He did have a really great voice with a deeper register to it which made it very unique from what you typically hear. They did somewhere around a 40 minute set, and towards the end of it, Ashley sang lead on a song. She sounded really good alone, but then Logan added some backing vocals, and the way his voice layered over hers sounded amazing. It was also around that time that Ashley called out Barry, saying he was “The best bass player ever.” “Ever”, I wouldn’t personally agree with, but definitely one of the best I’ve seen. Actually, I really felt he made their stage performance, being the most active of the group. - The Music Enthusiast

"A Musical Journey That Can't Be Compared"

“These guys will bring you into their abnormal view of music and re-define what it means to be a rock band. With ups and downs and turns and twists these guys take you on a musical journey that can't be compared. Their live show is incredible!" - Kevin Duer - Bird Brain Entertainment

"Daylight Industries Stimulates Your Senses"

“Daylight Industries stimulates your senses with their smooth melodic overtones before throwing in the afterburner and taking you for the ride of your life. It takes your average smalltalk and finger-food social party and turns it into an experience that will keep your guests wanting more. Don't let the subtle melodies throw you off. Each song is unique and will satisfy the craving you have been searching for." - JC Parker, iTunes review
