Formed in 2003, Day One is a multifaceted collection of young artists. Their musical influence can be traced back to everything from the works of Earth Wind and Fire, to classic hip hop groups such as A Tribe Called Quest.
Day One's choral lineup consists of the poetic contributions of multi-talented lyricists Refuuj,
Mic-G and Rebecca Sepp. The rhythmic expressions of drummer, Christiaan, Keyboardist, Rui, Bassist, Chuck, and guitarist, Armando (aka Timeless) provide the perfect foundation for aural endeavor.
Day One has performed at numerous venues throughout Southern California. Some of their most noteworthy shows have taken place at venues such as the San Diego Coors Amphitheatre (Channel 933 Your Show 6/7), B.B. Kings (Universal Studios), UCLA, CSU Northridge, and their recent first place victory in the San Diego Cream of the Crop Hip Hop competition at Dream Street in Ocean Beach.
