"Daysleeper is great!" - Mike Kamoo (The Stereotypes)
"Great independent band from San Diego. Jane's an instant hit" - Podcast
"Beautifull. They'll have hits on the radio before i ever do" - Lowell Heflin
"A great focus on songs." - Recording engineer
Last, but certainly not least, Daysleeper played. This group consists of Trevor on drums, Adam on guitar and vocals, and Cera on bass and vocals. This pop band is wonderful, and you will probably like them. Adam and Cera both have slightly airy, dreamy voices, accentuating the name "Daysleeper." Their sound is quiet comparable to that of the Silversun Pickups, which was agreed upon by myself and Aaron (Floors & Ceilings). If you listen to any song of theirs, listen to "Jane." Beyond their actual music, the band was very friendly (and, as I agreed with a friend upon, very trendy).

Bio
Daysleeper started off as the collaboration between Cera Monsen and Adam Piddington. Adam was touring the country with his band Lanterns and Cera was writing her soft melodies that would soon be molded into Daysleeper's first EP. Not only did they fall in love with each others music, they fell in love with each other. The ep's moody setting and sometimes dark lyrics, are a testament to the struggles they had while Adam was away. They met Trevor, a drummer in the Hardcore band This Flood Covers the Earth (nominated for a San Diego music award), and began to flesh out a group of songs that would eventually define Daysleeper's sound. Later in October of 2007 they added Travis on second guitar, taking their live performance to a higher level.
