DAYS OF WAITING TO PLAY ON NATIONAL TOUR!
The Adrian area Christian hard rock band Days of Waiting will be hitting the road for their first ever U.S. tour! On June 26th they will be hitting the road with four other Christian independent artists for the eXtreme Tour, and will be playing shows in over 17 cities from Florida to Maine. The eXtreme tour is the largest non-profit traveling national faith based tour in America and hit over 50 cities each year. The eXtreme tour features the some of the best independent Christian artist in the world as over 600 bands applied for the tour and only 20 were selected. The tour will feature extreme sports professional and amateur athletes and music in this all day event to show the love of God to anyone who attends. Days of Waiting will be hitting the road for the east coast leg of the tour for a month and a half with the eXtreme Tour 2009 to bring their music to the world.
On June 20th, Days of Waiting will be releasing their second studio (EP) “The Great Countdown” with an album release and fundraiser show! The show will feature Days of Waiting with special guests, national recording artist G ROD and Fire Burns Red. The album release show will be at “The Garage” at West Rome Baptist Church located at 11984 Rome Rd, Manitou Beach, MI. and tickets are only $5 presale and $7 at the door day of show. Doors open at 7pm and it is an all ages show, come and celebrate with us!

Justin Myers (vocals), Bryan Court (drums), Joel Bills(guitar), and Taylor Callis(bass) Make up the band, each bringing their own style and experiences to create the life that is days of waiting. With a sound ranging from beautiful to brutal days of waiting is a band that longs to break through to the unsaved in hopes that they, through music people will hear the word of God. "Those who do not know Go really don't understand what being a Christian is, all they know is what Satan and the world around them fills thier heads with. Therefore they will not willingly pick up a Christian CD and listen to it, but if we can create a sound they can relate to then maybe... just maybe they will hear the words and start to understand that God truly loves them and longs to be with them" -Myers. The future of days of waiting is unknown to them, however they do know that they will continue to reach out to those who are in need and will never stop what God has put on there hearts to do, which is to create music with a passion to help guide and save the lost. They will continue to seek God's will and always will wait upon the Lord, as these are our days of waiting.
