Music is like breathing: indie rock, britpop, desert rock from Berlin
First gig: an open air stage in the summer. First milestone: a support song for Winona Ryder. It was played on the radio and Mrs. Ryder wasn’t convicted. Anyway, all lyrics has been in English ever since. This was followed by: 3 albums and many concerts in clubs and at open airs in Berlin, Brandenburg and the Czech Republic.
DAYSONIC live: that’s indie rock and britpop straight to your feet, rough and rocking. Obsessed by melodies & driving beats, whirring guitar layers & splintering synth attacks. DAYSONIC is your daily ration of songs and sounds. The band is based in Berlin, Germany. And says: music´s like breathing.
On behalf of clients, the band also produced songs about organic food markets, and the nuclear phaseout. Nowadays, the lyrics deal with bizarre online marketing and improbable romances with superstars, with boneheads in politics and daydreaming at the disco. At a club or open air, loud or unplugged – it’s all about having fun on the stage and in front of it. Sometimes we’re also spinning records. Because it’s about music.
