"DB3: Bringing Emotion Back to Rock and Roll"

"Too many bands have
forgotten about sincerity.
This is where DB3 excels.
Dan Beahm wears his
heart on his sleeve. The
resulting music will take
you from angry, to
introspective, to
astoundingly excited to
be alive."
--Mike DeLaney - Rockster

Bio

DB3 evolved from the group Dan Beahm and The Invisible Three, which began as a solo acoustic act at the turn of the millenium. In June of 2003, Dan Beahm realized that in order to perform his songs to their full extent, there simply had to be more people (than 1) on stage.

Dan recruited metal-drummer-cum-Dave-Matthews-fanatic Mike Russell to lend a unique sound to the percussion side. He then added the bouncy six-foot-plus classical guitarist Tino Benedetti to play bass and DB3 was complete.

DB3 released their first album, Maybe I'll Fly, on June 1, 2003 and by Sept. 1st they had sold over 500 albums in Columbus alone.

Dan has been writing music since the age of seven. He has made a career of being a musical Jack-of-all-trades, and his most notable efforts include film scores for several motion pictures (one which reached Sundance Film Festival), continuous compositions for modern dance projects, multimedia scores, television scores, and wide variety of solo endeavors ranging in flavor from sixties-lounge to electronica to symphonic orchestrations to rock.

DB3 has enjoyed immediate success throughout Columbus and the surrounding areas, and has quickly become a favorite of the local music scene. In August of 2003, DB3 began publicly proving their performance prowess by taking the People's Choice Award at the 2003 AIDS Rock Ohio.

Enthusiasm for DB3 continues to grow, and the band promises to keep creating rock to move the masses, both intellectually and physically.
