My music is powerful...my words are truely like a double edged sword....in one song I can bring forth emotions of sadness because of the unfortunate reality of life....but in another, I can bring forth emotions of happiness because of the party up/celebratory sounds I can produce. In all instances, I bring out a talent one of a kind and entertaining. My influences right now will have to be the other great emcees in the industry. At the moment, my biggest influences are Lil Wayne and Jay- Z. What sets me apart from other rappers, besides my one of a kind appearance is the delivery in which I perform: with profound god-like confidence and energtic swag. I grew up in the projects of Fort Greene, located in the downtown section of Brooklyn. Rap music became my life at the age of 18. I was following rap music prior to that age, however, it wasn't something I thought I could be good at as compared to the other pioneers in the game. After years of repititious practicing, I perfected my craft with good freestyles and music. Everything seemed perfect and I was drawing crowds attentions with my witty style, however there was one missing ingredient: The belief in myself 100%. Now, 10 years after I put down my first lyric....I can say that I am ready for the world.....the question now is.....IS THE WORLD READY FOR D.B.!!!
