D Bell

D Bell

Former Dirt Dobber's frontman, D Bell, goes solo with his lo fi debut, RAW NERVES. Inspired by his love of classic songwriters like Elvis Costello, Peter Case, and Alejandro Escovedo, he delivers songs of unvarnished truth.

D Bell, the singer songwriter who fronted the Atlanta GA band the Dirt Dobbers from 1985 until 2007. Born out of the fertile garage rock scene in Georgia in the late 80's that also produced The Black Crowes, Drivin' 'n' Cryin', The Georgia Satellites, The Drive by Truckers, and countless others, D Bell formed the Dirt Dobbers as a vehicle for his manic depressive pop songs. When the Dobbers packed up shop in 2007 D Bell was the only original member remaining. So with three band records and a lifetime of bad habits under his belt, D Bell set out to explore his interest in classic American music.
