Bio

Formed back in 2000, consiting of like-minded professionals, «D'Black» has become the first Russian tribute act to Eric Clapton. During our UK tour in August 2010 «D’Black» visited Eric Clapton’s London office. Vladimir Avetissian (the lead singer) was presented with a guitar autographed by a famous musician, as well as a certificate of contribution in support of the rehabilitation center "Crossroads" (founded by Eric Clapton in 1997)
The band has released live double CD called «Claptomania» in 2009, which contains brilliant cover-versions of 16 Clapton most popular songs. The show of the band has been called «Claptomania» too and is dedicated to paying a sincere tribute to "The Slowhand", being completely authentic in every way This is a show that will not be forgotten!
«D'Black» has played throughout Europe at the events such as: annual Flower ball in Spain, festivals like «Miljoona rock» (Finland) and «Tribfest» (UK), different venues of Russia, Ukraine, Finland, UK etc

«D’Black» comprises 7 excellent musicians, performing all music and vocals live with no tracks, sequencers, or electronic harmonizers, using such wonderful instruments as clarinet, flute, Hammond organ and even duduk – traditional Georgian instrument.
