Don’t under estimate the style and delivery of Demetrius Logan. This 28 year old rapper has grown up seeing more than his fair share of life. And to this Midwest born son of Illinois his Texas roots are as strong as his love for the Midwest. Having lived in Nebraska to the ruff streets of Chicago to the calm areas of Iowa and falling to the hot Texas streets, he has gathered all the travels and life lessons and now has established himself as only he can proclaim, “My name is D Boy”
You would think that his young man with all that he has seen and experienced would have fallen to the streets. Instead, he has cleaned and polished himself up and focused 100% on his music… and it shows. Having performed on the stages with names such as Yo Gotti , Tum Tum, Koo Koo Cal, and opening act for Juvenile, Tum Tum, D.S.R (Down South Riders), Yo Gotti, Pimp C and U.G. K, D Boy provides a down South flow with a Midwest flavor that is eagerly a new and exciting style. When asked who he would compare his style to, “I am me, the 110% truth. Nothing that comes from me is made up or fake. It’s what I’ve seen and experienced in life. I want to bring back truthful music, real music, and honest music.” Some of his musical style also comes from his roots with Funked up Musik producer SydStyle and T Balla, C.E.O of A Real One Records. “I’ve been working with them on and off for quite a few years now. “ D Boy states, “I also collaborated with artists Lil French, Jon Won, Lil Seed, DJ Scratch Master Dee, Caliko, Big Won, Pimp T and Supa Dupa Wayne which are all out of Dallas Texas or the Quad Cities area (Iowa and Illinois)”
With his debut album coming called “Love, Life, Loyalty”, D Boy will show all his unbelievers just what type of caliber he has prepared himself for. With a diversity of tracks, listeners can expect club tracks, high way music, gangster raps, and of course something for the ladies. So if there is anymore doubt in this young man his past, present, and future will only keep you guessing as to what, where and when. His success is proven and his greatness will be legendary......
