DC The God Of Hip Hop

DC The God Of Hip Hop is an American artist born in Brooklyn, New York but from Miami, Fl  parents from the Dominican Republic and Haiti . DC has his mind set to bring something godly to hip hop music and he does so through his art. DC combines big vocals, airy thin sounds / signature, and  high energy deliveries with genius lyricism and word play. DC began performing at the age of 11 when he was enrolled in the Arts In Action Program for at risk youth dealing with neglect, sex abuse, poverty, suicide, etc. The program was teamed up with A.S.T.E.P (Artist Striving To End Poverty) to help teach children how to use art as a coping method to deal with adversity. After graduating the program at 18 DC has joined the movement but now as an artist helping to spread the message and serve as a living example of the importance of art in human life. DC refers to himself as the god of hip hop , he claims " theres this enormous Euphoric feeling I get when I make a song, it just energizes me, gets me going and makes me feel great you could even say godly". DC is pushing positivity through music and goes about it by incorporating negative instances to paint an overall positive picture. He believes that the tougher the adversity the bigger the glory and joy . DC believes life is all about working with what you have, even if it's negative and turning it all around to get a positive.
