Gifted, eclectic and multi-talentedÉthese are words that best describe DC, born D'Quan Cage, born in Southern California to parents who are equally blessed with musical talents. They knew at a very young age that there was something very special and different about DC, who is a lefty and well advanced as toddler, walking and talking both by the completion of his first year. It was evident then as well as now that DC is a star! Blessed with the ability to sing, dance, write and compose music, his special musical gifts shine bright.

At the age of five, DC began singing and dancing, at the age of six DC discovered his love of musical instruments and began teaching himself how to play the drums, piano and electric guitar. In DC own words, I am not like most kids because I think outside the box. Now eleven years of age, DC sound is like none you have heard, with soulful vocals fused with an alternative/rock blend and a twist of pop, if you had to compare him one would immediately say; young Michael Jackson, Prince and Lenny Kravitz. As a songwriter his lyrical style will melt you away.

Never the shy type, DC is always ready to perform at the drop of a dime. He has performed in numerous local functions and music showcases in the tri state area. Aside from music you can find him posing in several clothing ad campaigns, promoting his trendsetting style, such as Inkslingers clothing campaign in 2007 and most recently Coogi kids 2008 back to school campaign formally the face for Coogi Kids boys division.
