DCat & Da Bomb Return To Their Musical Roots With The Release Of The Album 01 Featuring George Clinton On DCAT Records, Available On I-Tunes, Napster And Snocap!!!
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 2007) Da Bomb the name of this funk trio says it all. Da Bomb is a family affair uniting brother-in-laws Dwayne “DCat” Cornelius pounding out the funk-a-licious rhythmic beats on the drums and Jesper “Bunkinstein” Bunk strumming the strings of the bass.
Da Bomb is joined on the musical journey by long time family friend Martin “Mad Mart’n” Jespen.
When Mad Mart’n executes his instrumentation of the guitar his passion for funk music is instantly recognizable. If the unity of this divine trinity is not enough even for the most discerning connoisseur of funk, the band also features the man who invented it all, the doctor himself, the legendary George Clinton. Along with Clinton is his own living legacy, son Treylewd. They perform together on the album DCat & Da Bomb like to call 01 for DCAT Records available on I-Tunes, Napster, Snocap and many others. Da Bomb has been recording together for years and toured worldwide backing up bands Womack and Womack, George Clinton and the Funkadelic Universe, Bobby Womack and Billy Preston. Clinton and Womack would double on the lead vocals.
Da Bomb currently travels between Denmark and the United States. The new album 01 is highly anticipated by fans. Da Bomb says of 01, “We are funkin’ up the net day and night, light years ahead of the studio daze.” If you are a true lover of funk and soul get ready…’Cause Da Bomb is about to DROP!

Da Bomb is a funk-rock trio with brother-in-laws Dwayne "DCat" Cornelius on Drums & Vocals and Jesper "Bunkinstein" Bunk on Bass. Joining them on Guitar is long time family friend Martin "Mad Mart'n"Jepsen. The Band also features the man that invented the bomb, George Clinton and his super funky son Treylewd on several tracks. The group has been recording together for years and toured worldwide backing up bands from Womack and Womack to legends; George Clinton, Bobby Womack and Billy Preston doing 50's rock & roll with a funk twist. Imagine Elvis and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers with George & Bobby on lead vocals. Da Bomb is currently traveling between Denmark and the US and uploading tracks back and forth on the net to get their record done. "We is funkin up the net day & nite, light years ahead of the studio dayz" says, DCat, Jesper & Martin live in Denmark while DCat lives in The States, but they manage to record weekly and have options on both sides of the world for releasing their debut album. So get ready for Da Bomb to drop soon.
