Bio

DC FLOW is a funky four piece band based out of the Washington, DC area that grooves with high energy, plays with rock attitude and generates spontaneous dancing at every live show.

In 2007 a young, tenacious lead man with serious verbal flow (Raeshwan) got together with a funky raw guitarist (Mike S.) and the DC FLOW concept was born. Funk + Rock + Hip Hop + Soul + Go Go + Latin Music = the DC FLOW sound.

After a year of gigging the DC area as a three piece including packed gigs at Jammin Java, the Harp and Fiddle, Gator Alley and many other venues, the final lineup was completed in 2009 when an experienced gospel drummer/singer (M.Smith) and an experienced New Orleans funk bassist (Doug D.) jumped on board.

With four talented and energetic musicians all locked into the same groove, DC FLOW's performances have started to generate a local buzz and fan base.
