Bio
The first time I remember loving to sing was when I had the Mulan soundtrack and sang "Reflections" in my room when I was in kindergarten. I started taking piano lessons months after and began to play more by ear than by sheet music. After I moved to Connecticut, I begged my mom to sign me up for singing lessons. We would sing the lion king songs in retirement homes on the weekends.
A few years later I saw a bright blue electric guitar in a music shop begged my parents for it. Santa brought it for christmas and i started taking guitar lessons from a man named Jamin' with long fingernails... needless to say i stopped taking lessons and put down the electric guitar.
When I was 14 I started writing my own songs. By the time I turned 16 I was writing a new song almost every night. Most of the songs were written to tunes in my head rather than accompanied by a piano or guitar. Summer of 09 I bought my first acoustic guitar. I taught myself how to play from watching youtube videos. I'm still learning new things everyday about playing the guitar.
In February I begged my parents (again) to help me find recording studios so I could make a demo with some of the song's i've written. With the help of my grandparents making it possible, I got to make my first demo and take more voice lessons to help me advance my music.
Today i'm still writing songs and playing the guitar and piano. I recently visited Tennessee to show me the steps i need to take to bring my music to the next level. I'm always looking for new opportunities to play my songs. I hope you enjoy listening to my music!
