NYLON: Why did you choose NYC to work in?
DILIAN: Here I find a lot of great music and record companies. It’s a town that inspires me to be better at what I do. Above all, I find interesting this sort of community of people who create interesting projects out of Brooklyn, who organize shows and other events in their buildings or lofts; it’s a great way of supporting new talent.
NYLON: Tell us a little bit about your music?
DILIAN: ... I’ve played in smaller and bigger venues and soon an album will be released.
NYLON: What local music you like?
DILIAN: There are a lot of bands I like. Some that I can remember are Slow Dynamite, High Places, Drew & The Medicinal Pan, Sons of Thunder and The Jealous Girlfriends.
NYLON: What neighborhood you live in?
DILIAN: I live in Brooklyn, in Bed-Stuy, a neighborhood with a lot of music tradition.

DILIAN writes and plays music in many ways, so it turns out in a variety of shapes and sounds that can be enjoyed by people from all sizes. DILIAN is starting to play more and more shows around the NYC area, some at Cakeshop, Cameo, Silent Barn, Monster Island, Glasslands, etc. Some press has appeared in Nylon mag, music blogs, etc. He also has been asked to DJ, at Royal Oak, galleries and other places.
