Bio

In 2010 Dukus & Sus decided to record hip hop songs as collaboration to their own individual projects. Sus with Backyard Bully & Dukus with Dukus is Dead. They used the ‘Bully’ part from Sus’s band and the ‘Dead’ from Dukus’s group and so Dead Bully was formed; citing their influences as Notorious B.I.G. Busta Rhymes, Redman, and Talib Kweli.

Dead Bully have had their track “I Don’t Know” featured in NBC’s U.S hit TV show ‘Numbers’ along with tracks being spun on BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, Kiss FM, Choice FM and XFM. They have worked with D12, Outsidaz and The Isley Brothers.

What’s more Dead Bully has performed at several events at Brixton Academy, Mean Fiddler, Jazz Cafe, Ministry Of Sound, Fabric, Hackney Empire and V Festival, Electric Gardens Festival & the Secret Garden Party Festival.

Dead Bully have been working tirelessly to bring their fans quality music, performing freestyle videos for SBTV & Street Starz and having their track “Get You Down” featured on Talib Kweli’s Community Mixtape, the duo released their first mixtape Dying Breed, on January 29th 2011.

Presented by DJ Harry Love, Dying Breed is a 19 track collection of original material which represents all that Dead Bully is about; intelligent lyrical content and music to make ya head nod.
The mixtape features production from Dukus, The Caligraphist, O’Nero, H!tman, Kemm, Crankz and collaborations with Funky DL, Pyrelli, K-9 & Messiahbolical.
