DeadFingers

Deadfingers was born in the south Chicago suburbs in late 2006, by Tim and Brian, two old friends who started writing 60s garage-influenced punk rock songs in a basement studio. In early 2007 they started playing shows with drummer Jason Pain as a three piece with Brian on guitar and Tim on bass and vocals.

Realizing that their live performances needed a bit more energy and spark, Kyle Streit was brought in on bass guitar, allowing Tim to take over frontman duties. This change has brought out the true essence of what they really are, an exciting live rock’n’roll band.

Within the first minute of seeing DeadFingers live, you will realize this is not your average punk band. High energy and passion is the best way to describe this bands hard-hitting live performances, which have drawn comparisons to bands like The Hives and Wolfmother.

By playing a relentless amount of shows through 2007-08, the band has built a dedicated fan base in their home town. Now they are looking to expand throughout the rest of the Chicago area and spread the sheer excitement and energy that a true rock’n’roll show should be.
