Bio

Deadfish is a melodic and upbeat band with reggae, rock, and hip-hop influences. This shining young group fuses long-beach Sublime style music with an east-coast attitude and Massachusetts local flavors.

After many countless jam sessions together and playing small shows around town. They officially formed in the spring of 2009 and decided to get serious after winning Berkley Music’s Battle of the Bands. Since then Deadfish has gone on to win numerous battles, played venues such as Tammany Hall, Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel, Showcase Live and have opened for national acts such as Marcy Playground, Ballyhoo, Badfish, Toussaint, and Fear Nuttin Band, while also sharing the stage with many other talented musicians along the way.

In late spring of 2010, the band has added an even more unique style to their sound by adding new member Trevor Buckingham also known as T-Buck to their roster of already talented musicians. T-Buck was born with a passion for music and starting writing and creating his own unique style around 9 years of age while slowly building his own home recording studio. T-Buck’s vocal talent along with the beats he creates injects hip-hop flavor into the bands style for a sound unlike any other.

The members of Deadfish hail from Littleton MA, with T-Buck representing Westford, Ma and regularly play locally in Worcester and all the boroughs of Boston, especially Allston and Cambridge.

With a reputation for giving a solid performance at shows they are surprising bands and promoters alike while developing a loyal fan base that is continually growing with every show. Deadfish is currently putting the finishing touches on their first studio album and are shooting for a late spring/early summer 2011 release.
