We have Just released our first EP titiled "The Nightmare Begins..." featuring five originals by yours truly. Produced by Casey Firkin and lost apparations records.
We are currently working on our first full-length album due out spring/summer 2010

Dead Kings Rising was started by the lead singer Scotty Grimm a few years ago, after countless efforts to find a group of people that clicked it finally came together in Jun 2008 with Scotty Grim on Vocals, Angie Jackson on lead guitar, Mr. Knowbody on Rhythm guitar and Eddie love on drums and our newest addition, Bill Rau on Bass. DKR is now complete and on it's way to establishing a new age fusion of horror punk and metal. Scott has always been heavily influenced by old school punk rock, such as bad religion and the misfits, you may be able to tell this when listening to his vocal style. The music we create comes from deep with in five individuals from all different area's of rock/punk and metal. We're trying to bring something new to the table, these days, thats not an easy triumph. Our sound takes an acquired taste, however, we think it tastes pretty damn good!
