Bio

From the ghetto of southwest Michigan and the sands of North Carolina's coast these great musicians were drawn together in the Great Smokey Mountains. Inspired by the giants, a superior sound, that flowed from the picks, sticks, and finger tips, was formed. This great music, which some describe as a small dose of cyanide and a touch of velvet, will push the blood through your veins with the unique style of rock and blow you away with the melodic volcal precision and mathematical flow, pumping out of every speaker. Not following the trends of rock, but setting the stage for a new and unique superior sound. This pivoting vision of rock emerged in Benton Harbor MI, in the beginning of the new millenium by three brothers, Kyran, Ryan and Tommy Phelan. The trio known as Classic Ghetto Machine, later regrouped, renamed and added second guitarist, Drew Banks. Dead Light Pulse was born. Soon after the formation, Rhiannon joined. Kryan, molded by the talents of blues and the ripping solos of metal, possesses a gift of, not only guitar playing abillities, but also musical composition. Ryan, the five string earthquaker, and Tommy, a genius on the drums, combine an erie dark sound mixed with crazy tribal, metal, and hip hop beats. Drew, adds a fresh rivoting crunch with the powerful chords from his seven string. Rhiannon rips the mic with bold, hard hitting tones. The fullness of this quartet produces a flow that will blow your mind. Dead Light Pulse is a new and fresh band, that has had an increase of fans with every show that has been performed, despite the lack of press coverage. With their goals set as high as the clouds, Dead Light Pulse will be well known by all likes of people, press and other up coming bands in the near future. DLP has had the oppurtunity in the past two years to attend four fund raising events (2 Fontana Fest and 2 Night Train) and six local shows, which included a success at battle of the bands (The Garage at Biltmore). with many more to come. With a strong love and passion for music, DLP strives to be heard in every radio, cd player and venue across America and the world.
