We released out first cd recently called "Antlers" which features songs like Zombiecause and Trashy Girl which both get play on 90.7 KJHK in Lawrence. The CD was made in collaboration with Kabe Cornell of Podank String Band.

It's been a long time coming for these high school buddies, but after many rock bands these Kansas good ole boys, picked up the acoustic instruments and somehow managed to rock even harder. Located in Lawrence, DMF is living proof that punk's not dead, it's bluegrass. With roots that grow back to old timey and Bill Monroe and stretch out through hip-hop, punk and WEEN there is nothing to be held back as DMF explores uncharted territory in the bluegrass genre. Their songs about PBR, LSD, relationships gone bad, and other lewd behavior, have made this band is a crowd favorite, regardless of the venue.
In just one year Deaman Flats has played over 150 shows around the midwest with bands like Oakhurst, DeWayne Bros, Fast Food Junkies, Asylum Street Spankers, Head For the Hills, the Wilders, War, and Trukstop Honeymoon. This band just loves to play. `
