DeadNecks

The DeadNecks started in late 2008 after local Billings punk bands Citizen Abortion and 40oz. Heroes broke up. Steve, Luke, and Ryan of Citizen Abortion joined together with 40oz. Heroes drummer Johnnie to start up a band that would blend the styles of hardcore punk rock and tradtional country music. Over the years the DeadNecks have built a dedicated following from playing shows in their home town of Billings Montana as well as shows all across the state of Montana and other surrounding areas. The DeadNecks have shared the stage with many well known bands including Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies, The Goddamn Gallows, Guttermouth, Millions of Dead Cops, Hellbound Glory, Flatfoot 56, In Defence, Short Changed, Vampire Lezbos, Phycostick, and many more. Ryan left the band in 2010 and the DeadNecks continue to play as a three piece. The DeadNecks live set usally consist of the band dressing up like old time country stars and then covering themselves in massive amounts of fake blood to give the appearance like they're dead. The Deadnecks live set also includes a great deal of crowd participation.
